Charlotte's Kitchen - Paihia

I tried the vegan margarita pizza from their vegetarian and vegan menu section and it was quite enjoyable. There are not many vegan options in this area, with many restaurants being closed, so I was happy to discover this place.

The vegan choices at this restaurant are fantastic. I ordered a mushroom pizza expecting the usual bland option, but was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful wild mushrooms and delicious vegan cheese. Even when dining with meat eaters, the service was exceptional and I didn't feel like an outsider. Highly recommended!

I had to choose between pizza and a starter, so I opted for the crispy sesame tofu salad. The waitress commented that it was odd that the only vegan option was a salad, with the main dishes all being steak. I ordered the large size, which turned out to be smaller than I expected and cost $23. The location on the wharf may justify the price, but I left feeling a bit ripped off and still hungry.

Nice spot on the water. The food was great and the service excellent.

The vegan options they have are excellent. Had a pizza mushrooms and expected the same boring. But this was amazing with wild mushrooms and excellent vegan cheese. And if you go out with meat eaters, you will not be treated like an exotic evil service the best
