Outrigger - Palacios

This is the best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time, and the atmosphere is perfect. I can't think of a better place to spend weekends with friends or family. Plus, the staff at the Outrigger are incredibly friendly and attentive—it's rare to find service like theirs anywhere else.

This delightful small-town restaurant is ideally located by the water, and they obtain their seafood directly from local suppliers. I always look forward to visiting on summer Friday nights when I'm in town. It's a fantastic place for larger family gatherings, but I suggest calling ahead a few days in advance for a seamless experience. The service has consistently been outstanding when I do this. The owner is usually present and enjoys interacting with guests—he's genuinely a great person.

Famous Palacios Shrimp is now offering lunch in addition to dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Come and enjoy a laid-back atmosphere along with delicious food!
