Alcatraz International - Palafrugell

After another visit to the Alcatraz bar, I have to say we had an explosion. the breakfast is brittle (danke tante), the girls are beautiful and friendly. they could not do enough for them! John the owner is also friendly and looks nothing like a .perhaps beerglasses. dare! because johns had the bar for 36 years, so does that not tell you? So the pubs old? if they don't like it, the exit is the same as the one. dont pay 3star and expect 5!

The worst beer in calella, dirty three locations that we were ignored by the employees, including the manager who supports around like a pfau.

The missus and I came here to see how our football team looks in a TV station, and to be honest, it's the only reason they'd come here. all they expect from a British bar in the country is here, from the look of the bar., rowdy punters, who think they are amazingly funny (they are not, though), grumpy fellow workers, charging the quotes for a pint of British camp. tennants lager is for example an eye water of 1.50 rather than my local pub. the menu was also not quite cheap, not that we wanted to eat here anyway. we tried to watch the game, but we are constantly crying from families with boring children, or couples trying to chat and us about their different medical problems they have or had. we saw the game and left pretty sharply after it. if they want to see their team on TV, then this is the place where they go, but they will not get peace to watch it. I suggest they go somewhere else, as there are much better local bars. if they plan to spend most of their days / nights here, then what is the point to go to Spain. Just try another pub in their hometown, it will be much cheaper.

Grubby dirty smelly hovel of a bar, bar staff hounding you to finish you drinks and get out. This is not what you expect. With tables that you bags can magically stick to and bar staff who have mood swings bigger than their heads. We...went one night and have draft beer which gave one member bad stomach but we put it down to something else. Another who had a spirit and a mixer but where the location of the optics are you are unable to see what you are being served. It definitely was not what I asked for or was charged for an over priced under quality drink. When asking for glasses with ice the owner then scooped it out the ice bucket with his bare dirty hands. Yes this place is that hygienic. Now we move onto the bingo where you are guilt tripped and forced to play for €9 for a book of six where the enthusiasm for the bingo call was as impressive as her personality and talent of customer service...non existent. There are many bars in calella and surrounding resort that pride them selves on customer service and their good reputation. This is one bar that brings shame to the resort and the hospitality name.

Staff is very rude and if you are not British you are not welcome. They insult you based on that. Coffee is disgusting.
