Cafe Fourteen - Palatine

My fiancé and I absolutely adore this restaurant for brunch! The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is cozy with lovely plants all around, and we are particularly impressed with their fall menu options, especially the pumpkin French toast. It is so delicious!

This restaurant is a classic breakfast spot with fantastic food and service. The omelettes were excellent, but the standout dish for me was the "chicken with waffles." I was pleasantly surprised by the four chicken legs that came with my deliciously crispy waffle. I can see myself becoming a regular at this place! VictorB

I have been coming here for breakfast/brunch since I was kid and have always been pleased with the food and service. We found out they are open for dinner on Friday/Saturday, so we went to try it. We were very impressed. The bread was excellent allmade from scratch along with their pastas. Greek salad was superb. For an entree we tried the Mango salsa Grouper special; itwas fantastic. Meatballs are a homemade delight. Prices are reasonable and we were pleasantly full with leftovers. For breakfastI get the Southwest Skillet, it's wonderful. Lox platter, Spartan Omelette, Eggs Benedict and Crepes are favorites also.

Very nice place with outdoor seating. Great food. Nice ambiance. A lot of succulent which is lovely. Service is great!

We typically visit Cafe 14 for breakfast, but decided to try their dinner this time and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent. I ordered the special Mango Salsa Grouper and the fish was perfectly cooked, accompanied by a delicious risotto. They also served homemade bread at the table, which was fresh and tasty. I would return just for the bread. We will definitely be returning soon to try more dishes. The service was great, as always.
