El Chicanito Bakery - Palatine

The staff and patrons at the time of my visit with my 5 year old, were all so sweet. My daughter is in Spanish immersion and everyone made her very comfortable with her Spanish speaking abilities ??

Bread was super fresh, price was ok, customer service was friendly. Tuesday bolillo are 4/$1.00 defenetly coming back for bread. A lot of variety of Mexican bread. Like the size of them not too big.

I arrived at the restaurant expecting it to be open until 10 o'clock, as their working hours indicated. However, they unexpectedly locked their doors at 9:05, so I will be looking for another place to take my business.

Good food and good energy in all of their locations. Good place to get work done or just hang out w folks. Younger crowd from what I’ve experienced.

The bread was okay. The thing that I don't understand is, why do they try to sell yesterday's bread and pass it as fresh I can tell right away. I won't be coming back to this bakery.
