We loved Lamplighters. They have had a complete makeover of the dining room since the last time that we were here and the order-taking staff was so nice and polite to us, treating us like highly-valued customers. We reccomend Lamplighters to anyone in the Palatine area.

The food is good, The prices are right, The service and atmosphere is delightful.

Went there for my HS reunion, they had drinks and food for us it was very nice.

They've kept the originality of the entire bar alive for many many decades which is very cool. Not just in major but in minor ways as well. However, it's old school roots are nothing like the atmosphere inside. I got a Moscow mule with a plastic cup and the music was so loud you couldn't hear your friend next to you.
