Morkes Chocolates - Palatine

I brought my daughter here to try her donuts, and they were as tasty as the reviewers had said! To complete it, the service was very friendly, and the covered outdoor area was the perfect place to enjoy our sweet treats. We will definitely come back!

Every time I visit, the staff treats us as if we can't afford what we order. I often hear remarks like, “It's expensive, are you sure you want it?” or “That’s quite an expensive apple,” and they seem hesitant to serve us. I find this kind of customer service very frustrating.

I received a complimentary coffee and donut for my birthday—thank you so much! I also bought some fudge and other chocolates, and they were delicious!

I have used Morkes for all my chocolate needs, from the incredible creamy fondue chocolate, the peanut brittle (my favorites), the high-end potty apple and the donut birthday cake. I've never been disappointed. The manager there, Jane always has a friendly word and is unbelievable in her job. She helped me plan a surprise chocolate and wine party in her private space and it was phenomenal. Very recommended! D

I've had a disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant. I placed an order five days in advance for an event, but when my husband arrived to pick it up, he was informed that the order wasn't ready because they claimed it had only been placed the day before. I find it frustrating when people are not truthful; accountability is important. My husband ended up waiting 20 minutes for them to prepare the order, which made me late for my event.
