Sarinande Tempo Doeloe - Palembang

Various classic Palembang dishes here. My favorite is always Pindang Ikan Gabus, served hot with millions of spices. The price is on the expensive side, but it is worthwhile if you have lunch / dinner for visiting relatives or business partners.

Been to other restaurants to eat Pindang when in Palembang. Once I eat Pindang here, i'd say this is the best!

Before leaving to airport, stop here for brunch. Local food of Palembang is so delicious.

Typical of traditional restaurant. Palembang food. served with many plates on the table, like dishes in Padang kitchen. Taste so good, but expensive.

A jewel in Palembang Town, their pindang (fish soup) series (especially Gabus for me) are super great, their operation like padang kitchens, most dish served in plastic warp on the table, but you can order ala carte. Her fried Belida fish cake is also brilliant. Oh don't forget, taste her oil rice (with saamine oil, bit like fried rice) eat it with her famous fried chicken are also super brilliant. Her fried chicken taste also really diffrent from commonly roasted chicken. Definetly will visit this place again when I go to Palembang City.
