However, we needed some toothpicks to get the snails out, whereas the waitress was inducing us to suck them out. That was too hard for us, not being real Valencians. Nice atmosphere and good service. And remember.... wherever you can get paella for dinner, it is a tourist trap: lunch only!
They offer a nice menu which is reasonably priced. Food was great with right balance of flavours and the service was friendly enough.
We were lured in by the nice menu. It had everything to be great. Unfortunately, the mussels had beards, the baby octopus tasted like stale, overused frying oil, which was especially weird as the menu claimed they were grilled. The lobster tasted like it had been frozen, and the rice was burned. We also had to ask for new plates as they gave us dirty ones. I was also very surprised when i looked up this restaurant on tripadvisor, as it cleary is no Italian restaurant, let alone a pizzeria. Positive: all dishes looked great. Negative: taste couldn't match the look.
The carpe diem bar, is located next to the old palencia area, specifically on the paved street and is a good way to start the cap route of the capital, as it is very close to many other tapas bars. It has a varied menu of picoteo, based on -tablas: German style, cheeses, smoked, tuna, pas, Iberian, land and sea, etc. -tatas, rocks, snacks accompanied by fries and all kinds of peaks, also has a good menu of beers and wines. also has a daily menu based on 3 first and 3 seconds, more dish of the day for a price of 9,00€ or 12,00€ being Thursday the day of the cook.
Tortillas para almorzar buenísimas y tapas excelentes a partir de las 7 y a medio día además de un precio razonable ! Echaremos de menos a Nazaret !! Mucha suerte !!!
