Restaurant Las Tinajas - Palenque

Great Mexican cuisine, big portions! Very nice fresh juices too. It is a must when you visit Palenque. It is in downtown Palenque, friendly staff and no Wi-Fi

This restaurant it's overwrite it, the place it's not bad at all and the food is good as any other descent restaurant around town but get ready to wait at least 40 minutes for your food.

The place is clean, reasonably priced and food is acceptable, but I really don't understand all the rave reviews. Maybe we went in a bad day but the service was so slow!! They brought our dishes (we were three) each about 10 minutes apart! It was crazy. My daughter was done with her breakfast for at least five minutes before they brought my fruit (yes fruit--that's all I ordered). How long does fruit take? We don't plan on going back.

Went there on the recommendation from 'Lonely Planet ' and was not disappointed. The place is clean, the staff friendly spoke English), the food tasty and all at a good price. My daughter claims this is the best meal we had in our two weeks tour of Mexico. Would definitely recommend.
