Osteria Lo Bianco Sede Storica

E il bianco sta anche iniziando la sua discesa, forse da aspettarsi dopo la campagna pubblicitaria molto estesa effettuata sia su cartelloni pubblicitari intorno a Palermo e sui social media. Non sono stato qui da alcuni mesi; non aggiungerò nulla su quello che è successo ieri sera, sono un cliente abituale e spero davvero che un luogo storico a Palermo, inciso nella nostra mente per avere cibo semplice e buono, personale gentile e prezzi onesti, riesca a recuperare il prima possibile. (Per i curiosi: antipasti medi, vino senza gusto e spaghetti inedibili con pesce spada e melanzane, pasta con una salsa molto dolce che abbiamo lasciato lì. La cucina ha fatto tutto un corso, il cassiere ci aveva detto che la cucina avrebbe chiuso alle 22.30 e abbiamo detto che saremmo stati veloci. Alle 10.05 avevamo già ordinato e dopo circa 10 minuti tutti i piatti sono usciti insieme, principianti e primi corsi. Brutto, cattivo, cattivo, spero che tutto torni a com'era sempre, se siete in vacanza non rischiate, piuttosto andate da qualche altra parte, e fate attenzione alle recensioni a 5 stelle da tedeschi o milanesi!

Arrived to an empty restaurant and were told we could only sit outside because inside all tables are reserved. Atmosphere outside was not nice at all. One man, we think the cook, was wearing a dirty pant which didnt properly cover his butt. At this moment we should have reconsidered and leave. We stayed and ordered. Our wish for aperitivo was denied. They said they have none except Cola and other sodas. The neighbouring table surprisingly got some aperitivo (Aperol) served. I assume because they were italians. 1 glas on our table was dirty and was changed. 1 fork was also dirty. First we got whitewine. It had a slight rose colour and tasted flat. We think they gave us a old wine, because it tasted as if it was too long open and started to oxidize. Our ordered starters came. One was definitely cooked in advance and cold, eventough it should have been done freshly in oven so the cheese forms a crust. It was chewy. The other starter should have been (according to the waiter) with artichokes. Instead i got melted cheese in lots of oil and vinegar. Very sour and unpleasant. We sent the dishes back and cancelled the ordered pasta and left. We think we got treated differently because of not being locals. Can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The good reviews are in my opinion doubtful
