My husband said he had a taste for some really good ribs. I told him I only knew the place! Let go of bone quality! I had the sweet tea and it was delicious. Pecan pie for him and sweet potato for me! Definitely recommend this place!

Friday night fried cats. The best I ever tasted! Great grill, friendly staff, the works! They also had a 50-year anniversary celebration in my house a few years ago. Guests from the city razed over the food! Very recommended!

I am pastor at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in Pert. Yesterday we have taken care of our cover table dinner from this place, which celebrates a year at the service of the church. Sheps confirmed what I've known for years as a school teacher in Neches. They are the best grill by far in East Texas and are unsurpassed in class and love as they serve people. Go on!

I've been going to Shep's for most of my life (I'll be 48 next week). Shep's not only has some of the best BBQ, but Bruce and his staff treat everyone like family! When I'm home for a visit, I always go pick some BBQ up to take back to Louisiana with me!
