Fidel's Cocina - PALISADE

This restaurant is just perfect for Palisade! The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The food was absolutely delicious. The chefs really have a handle on flavors and portion sizes. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but still reasonably acceptable. However, our waiter was somewhat distant and lacked enthusiasm or coordination during our dinner. The appetizer and main course arrived just two minutes apart as we received our drinks. After that, we waited for about 30 minutes before he checked in with us again. Despite this experience, I would definitely consider giving this place a second chance. The chai martinis were a delightful surprise!

We started with the deconstructed elote as an appetizer, and it was fantastic—definitely a dish I recommend. I would also strongly suggest trying the chili relleno, which had a wonderfully crisp coating. The cucumber margarita was excellent as well. The service was very attentive. However, the noise level was quite high, making it difficult to have a conversation at times. Overall, I would highly recommend the food and service!

Gannon was a wonderful server… ambiance is top notch… drinks were great… food was good but definitely a bit pricey… service got a bit slow towards the end of our meal but we’d definitely go back and recommend it to others
