I had a personal pancake and coffee and had a nice conversation with Anita. Also bought some jam and salsa while I was there and can not wait to return. Anyway, look over when you're in the area!
This local cake shop in Palisade is exactly what you would have in mind if you were in the mood for a slice of delicious cakes sold by the slice, as well as by the dozen if you want. Apart from their names, this cozy shop also sells local sweets and treats curated on regional and seasonal flavors and favorites make it a must for anyone who is through Grand Junction, especially on this beautiful pane of the city on Palisade.
I was at a girl's weekend in Roseade and we drove the Fruit Wine Byway, excited to stop at Roseade Pies along the way, but we didn't want to make it by closing. I called Anita to check the hours and she asked what kind of cake I wanted and left one for us on the cake rack. We were so excited to belt it on the bicycle carrier and enjoyed the delicious peach cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Anita went beyond and beyond and the whole experience was a highlight of our journey.
At home felt everything. The best peach cake I've ever had. Smells super!
Sooooooo good! We stopped mid morning looking for something to eat. Ended up with a whole pie, a couple of lattes, and some delicious zuchini bread. Went outside to the orchard for a beautiful spontaneous breakfast. Loved every minute of it!
