I have been here many times. The food is excellent, but they keep cutting back on the entrees. For example, the fried chicken that we love so much, used to come with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. In fact, the menu on the Open Table web site states Choice of breast or 3 piece dark meat, buttermilk biscuit and seasonal slaw, smashed potatoes, hot honey . When I received last night was the chicken with cole slaw and a small serving of cornbread. That was disappointing but our server, Roselyn, was fabulous.
It has so much opportunity but drops the ball every time. The service is so lack and slow regardless of their automatic 20%, the food is so overpriced for what it is and is horrible. The wine is terrible. It’s shuck a shame because Butcher’s club is amazing.
Food quality was mediocre, especially for the price.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Honeybelle and we had a great server. We started with a mocktail and a Sugar Spice (similar to a Cablecar) specialty cocktail both were great. We chose the meat pizza with the egg and the mushroom with ricotta pizza. We asked for a small side of hot honey (bc it sounded interesting) which was excellent drizzled on the mushroom pizza and great for dipping our crusts. Finished with the chocolate cake a cherry sorbet it was small dessert, but we loved the flavor combination. We’ll be back.
