Contribuisci feedback$34 for chicken fajitas?! For that price, I expected them to at least be the best fajitas of my life, but they didn't even come close. On top of that, the service was subpar too! Every other Mexican restaurant I've been to in the valley offers a better value than this place.
My Family and I decided to celebrate Cinco De Mayo at Armando 's Dakota Bar Grill. We have been coming to this restaurant for many years. It was a very emotional day for us, we had just left a Funeral for one of our close friends. When we arrived at the Restaurant about 4:30 Pm my Sister in Law walked up to the podium to put our name on the waiting list. The owner of the Restaurant was checking people in. He totally ignored my Sister in Law, who is Mexican. He then helped the white ladies who were walking in after we had arrived. The owner yelled at my Sister in Law in Spanish, What do you want?. She said we needed a table for 4 people. The owner said it would be a 90 minute wait for a table in the shade or inside the Restaurant. My Sister in Law said we could sit on the patio area. The owner pointed to an empty table in the Sun. When my Sister in Law questioned him about the table, he yelled in Spanish Take it or leave it lady . Wy Wife then asked the owner again in Spanish if he had anything else available. The owner yelled at my Wife ,Who is also Mexican, You want the table or not, I am busy . We ended up sitting at the table, only because I told my Family that I was really hungry. We witnessed the Owner of the Restaurant (See attached photo) showing favoritism to the white customers, and being Racist to other Mexican Customers. My Family and I will NEVER go back to this Restaurant. There are so many other great Restaurants along El Paseo drive DO NOT GO THIS RESTAURANT! You will be very disappointed
Excellent food and margaritas and very nice outdoor patio the service was fantastic. Will definitely go back again and also invite our friends.
Popped in for a mid-shopping drink then met brother n dad for lunch at Tommy Bahama's WHICH WAS PACKED so my friend louise n I convinced them to go back to Armando's for lunch!! Wait time was 5-7 mins for outside seating. Staff are Exceptionally friendly, helpful, and positive! Chips Salsa while were a treat with our drinks as we waited for our lunch.
I have avoided this place because the reviews run so good/bad, but our restaurant was closed unexpectedly so we ended up here and had a very good dinner. Best tamales I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Very good Cadillac margarita. Good chips and salsa. The service was okay...not spectacular. But the food was delivered hot, which is most important. I'll go back now that I know the food is good.
