Babaloo Lounge - Palm Desert

During my visit in November, we enjoyed a Rat Pack era singer, which was a nice change from the 80s-90s rock bands we had seen in September and October. The restaurant offers a unique Cuban Tapas style menu, and I particularly loved the caprese salad and seared ahi—both are definitely must-tries. The service was attentive, and the staff, especially the bus helpers, were quick to respond to any requests. Overall, it's a fun and nostalgic place that is always enjoyable to visit.

I had my first visit here, and it definitely won't be my last! I sat indoors next to the outdoor patio where a band was performing. There was also music playing inside, which made it a bit challenging to have a conversation with my dining partner. However, I won’t let that overshadow the wonderful menu variety, exceptional service, and high-quality food with generous portions. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially while sitting outside on the patio. The only downside was that we had to wait an unusually long time for our drinks—around 20-25 minutes. This was surprising, considering it was a Monday night and not busy at all. The music was fantastic, though a bit loud, which made it challenging to have a conversation, but it was still enjoyable! The food was excellent overall. Out of our group of six, everyone except one person loved their meal. The only disappointment came from the guest who ordered the pork dinner, as he found it quite dry. Despite that, we all agreed that we would definitely return; it's such a fun place!

The lechón was so juicy and flavorful. The staff was superb. I felt as if I were on a beach in Havana. Loved the unique cocktails

We loved our visit to Babaloo Lounge. Delicious food, nice cocktails, wonderful, friendly service, great ambiance, and live music. Wonderful!
