But we were greeted by the owner who proved to be a lovely and attentive server. And WOW! When the food came we were blown away. Not only was it presented as if we were in a fine dining room but it was, in fact, delicious. Even though the prices may have been a bit high (it was Mother's Day), all of us were impressed with our meals. A definite treasure in the desert.
What an overlooked gem! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. It is in Shadow Mountain Resort and is above the snack bar, don't let that fool you. The restaurant's food could easily compete on El Paseo.
Good coffee and food! We ate here three days in a row, everything’s delicious and fresh.
Lovely little place located within a suburban location. A bit unusual to find but well worth it. Food was unbelievable . My crepes were the best ever. The interior could be made more interesting but the food and service made up for it. Would recommend highly.
Well first things first. I had no idea this was in a resort. Google leads you nowhere near the restaurant. So we were late (and not sure we were in the right place). Saw a sign by the lobby, but it was closed. So wandered our way around a pool where we thought a restaurant might be.Very casual. Like Starbucks casual. We were here for the Easter brunch, smaller menu and nothing really Easter about it. Sat ourselves, ordered drinks. Waited 10 minutes. Got drinks. Ordered brunch. 30 minutes later it arrives. No one had checked in and no one checked in after we received our food. I got the smoked salmon Benedict. Decent, but could've used some of that hollandaise for my potatoes.Best thing was the jalapeño margarita. Just enough spice but not too much.
