Mezzo Mondo - Palm Desert

Small intimate setting with the best, Most Welcoming service. Ordered the lasagna and it was amazing! In any case, it will come back to this gem of a restaurant.

Last night was our 32nd anniversary. When I came "Best Italian Restaurant in Palm Springs" Googled Mezzomondo was definitely considered. I wanted a special place and we found him! It is a small family business with limited seating. Although we had to wait for a reservation on a Tues night, the place was occupied with locals. We knew we had found a hidden jewel when we were greeted by Luba one of the owners with a glass of Preseco! It was worth it! The food was amazing from garlic bread to the incredible ducks. I had the Lasagna and my wife had the Chicken Marsala. It was described by Luba -mouth watering and O.M.G.!!! The other owner Elio the boss was wonderful and even came out of the kitchen to meet us. The rest of Carlos and Kristen worked together and their service was Top Notch. As I said, I was looking for a special place to take my wife for our anniversary, and this place is just that! They made us feel special and the food, service and ambience were the best we saw! We're coming back!

Food: was very delicious, the good thing about them is that they do their pasta homemade) , and i had homemade pasta before but they are not as good as this. We got the calamari salad as a starter it was really nice. And got two main dishes they have hard names to remember lol) but one of them is under the main courses and the other one was the special of the day. Place: very clean a bit small but cozy. Although all of the customers aside from us were old people, which I don't mind but wanted to mention it for the people who are looking for trendy places only. Service: all of them were nice people but the Russian lady the wife of the Italian chef) was very welcoming and hugs everyone lol. She was very nice and even if the food wasn't good which is very good) I would come again just because of this service. Price: Were very fare prices compared to the quality of food which honestly it's hard to find in the US.

We just happened to stop here on a whim, and had the most wonderful dinner. Everything was made fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service was outstanding also! I cannot recommend this strongly enough. We will be back.

We discovered this jewel of a restaurant while we're looking for another place. The food is simply amazing, I say some of the best in the desert. Service was great and the whole staff was super friendly. We had 5 different dishes and one was better than the other. I highly recommend this place.
