Palm Desert Resort Country Club

Unfortunately, we ended up leaving without having our meal. We received our drinks quickly but waited for an hour and a half for our food, so we decided to get up and leave. They did cover the cost of our drinks, but we were left feeling quite disappointed.

We were on vacation and had previously enjoyed pasta night at this restaurant. I made a reservation on OpenTable for 5:30 PM, as the website indicated that they were open for pasta night on Thursday, May 1st. We arrived at the clubhouse at 5:25 PM, only to find very few cars in the parking lot. When we tried to enter through the front door, it was locked. We checked around the building but found no one there. Upon returning to the front, we noticed a small sign stating that they were closed on Thursdays. Their website definitely needs to provide accurate information about their operating days. It was quite disappointing!

We were very disappointed.It took 2 hours after placing the order for dinner to arrive, the noise level was loud so loud that we could not hear each other talk. when we asked to bring the noise level down, we were told the band was live, we did not enjoy at all, after spending a lot of money and a big tip. I don't think we would like to come back but unfortunately as new owners, we seem to have no choice, we have to come and spend our money almost under duress.

Salmon was delicious and service was great, enjoyed it very much!

If you are coming for the food, good choice. Varied menu prepared well. The acoustics could be improved. When the dining room is crowded or when there is musical entertainment in the lounge it is a challenge to your vocal chords to hold a conversation. The band last night was pretty good, though.
