Salty Lime Cantina - Palm Harbor

I reached out through the Salty Lime and Thirsty Marlin websites last week, but I haven't received a response. I'm not sure why I keep coming back here. Tonight, I asked to move tables because there were ants crawling up the brick walls. Now, over 20 minutes later, I’m sitting at my new table with no taco Tuesday menus, no water, and multiple servers have walked by to assist other tables but have ignored ours. It's safe to say that we won’t be returning in the future. I feel consistently let down by the service and quality at your restaurant.

One of the ways I rate a Mexican restaurant is by their Margarita. As usual, great flavor, not a drop of alcohol, fruit juice with alcohol prices. Thick, hard chips with some of them being super salted, no outside service, but outside seating. Food took forever to come, also expensive. Food was good and plenty. Not the worse, but no where close to the best. It only gets good ratings because it's a local hangout.

I had made reservations earlier in the week since we had a group of 14 for Friday. Our table was set up and ready for us as soon as we got there. Dylan was our server and was fantastic! Very attentive to everyone in our group. Food was amazing as well! Thanks again for a great night!! :

We always love Salty Lime. Enchiladas with black beans and yellow rice are my favorite. Taco Tuesday is a family favorite. Service was a little slow but the waiter was busting his butt. Highly recommended!

We have been remiss in not trying the Salty Lime Cantina as we live nearby and friends had recommended it. So this evening we enjoyed dinner at the bar. We had very attentive service from Katlin. Unfortunately for us we missed their happy hour which runs from 3pm to 5pm as we aren’t early drinkers. But DH enjoyed an Altos Margarita that is a double in most other places. I had a decent house Chardonnay. Chips and salsa were tasty. DH really enjoyed his Rosa Vieja tacos with beans and rice on the side. My Don Carnitas tacos were delicious! The flavors of the pork and grilled pineapple blended perfectly. We wish happy hour was later but we will be back on occasion.
