Sip 85 - Palm Harbor

We had the filet with a side of asparagus and a side of green beans. The asparagus and green beans were very good. The filet wasn't quite to my liking, but I would go back and try something different next time.

The food here is typically excellent. And most of our dinners were- except for a Caesar salad that tasted like a cup of vinegar was in it. I mean you couldn’t have a bite without coughing from the acidity. We were disappointed that this wasn’t looked into.

Sip was recommended to us by a friend. We each tried one of their recommended dishes (Beggar's Pouches and Double Cut Pork Chop) and were not disappointed. Very nice and reasonably priced wine list and the service was very friendly. We went early on a Saturday night and were glad we made reservations as the restaurant filled up quickly. The restaurant was a little noisy but since we were there relatively early we were done before it was completely full. Definitely putting Sip on our list of faves in the area and will recommend to others.

Our waiter, Thomas, helped us navigate a diverse menu to chose items that were great and satisfying. He provided attentive service that was not overwhelming; allowing us to really enjoy our evening. The food was delicious. This is a great local gem. I wish we lived closer so that we could visit again soon.

Service always excellent, food always great. Noise level at times rather high, only objection.
