Beautiful place and views from the balcony are the best in downtown Palm Springs. We came for drinks and an appetizer before our dinner (in another restaurant in the city). Our drinks and small plate were delicious, but our server seemed upset and unpleasant that we did not have a full meal. He insisted that we order everything at once and when I told him that we were just her for a cocktail hour, I asked myself. Is that okay with you? And his answer was? It must be. He was great of cleaning and unwilling. While we were there, we also learned that our server tells another waiting staff member to get rid of these people? Reference to a pair fed inside that went to the balcony to take photos for sunset. The balcony was empty except us and another table of guests. (The interior was also quite dead and that was on a Friday night). The views were really pretty, but since the server had such a terrible attitude, I don't think we'll be back soon. We dinate a lot in all kinds of restaurants and never had such a strange encounter with a server. Maybe friendly people get to serve your guests and the restaurant will be full.
Had a fantastic meal here. I ordered ribeye, but the market fish (Mexican Grouper) was also ordered by others. Great service and good views at the top of the hotel.
An anniversary dinner. Our server (Tom) was professional and excellent. He gave great insights into the menu and he had excellent timing. The other waiting staff was very attentive, professional and subtle in their service. All dishes were served in order and on time and never rushed. The quality of each record was high and the creativity was also high. Presentation was excellent and in-line with an upper end white table cloth restaurant. Music and ambience were hip and cool. The place has a great mood and the experience is highly recommended if you have a reason to go for something special while in PS. Will return without hesitation.
This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in quite some time. My wife and I are from New Orleans and we were meeting some friends who have moved to California. 4 Saints made the reunion truly memorable. 1. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the Kimpton. It offers breath taking view of the mountainous-desert skyline. The ambience is cool and inviting...They type of place that when you walk you know it is going to be a good night. 2. The wait-staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our head waiter provided a thorough explanation of each special including where ingredients were sourced and what drink pairing would work best with our main courses. 3. The dishes that were served were so thoughtful and most important delicious. Each dish had serious depth often weaving together interesting flavor profiles. I recommend ordering the Marsh Hen Mill Cornbread, the grilled broccoli, the roasted beets, the Ribeye, and Adobo Cauliflower. Once the small plates came out the conversation turned to the dishes and we really did not stop talking about the food until the dessert was served. It was such a treat being here and I will definitely return on my next visit Palm Springs. Thanks chef for a great evening!
