Persimmon Bistro - Palm Springs

I went here twice as I traveled to ps on my last trip (1st week in the april), visited the museum both picturesquely, on 2 separate weeks: once on Saturday and 2nd time on Friday. it is cool that it is connected to the museum. on Saturday we were there, I enjoyed the winetests that they had to offer (4 different), plus they could pay a little extra for the desert wine, and I had the 2 different types of humus that they offer and both were good. I enjoyed 2 the wee more than the others, but that's why they try. the following Friday I went back with other friends, and they had a few selected wee for 5.00, and I enjoyed one above the other. had the hummus again. they also offer small, wood-fired pizzas for sharing, which I had enough for lunch or afternoon snack and tasting, but not this time. I had the same waitress both paintings and she was pleasant enough, I think she brightened a little more the second time I was there. the 2 different hostesses were friendly and pleasant. I would recommend this place, but especially if they are already there, enjoy the museum.

We waited ten 15 minutes that were ignored by the staff and so we went. not their best day, and we could say that they were underoccupied. looks like a wonderful place to have a quick drink after the look at the wonderful art exhibitions, but it was not meant for us.

The amazing aromas from this restaurant waft up to the main floor of the Art Museum! The indoor tables are quirky animal booths and we were impressed by the open wall into the theatre. We were seated outside at very distanced tables (there are maybe 8 in the whole courtyard). You can reserve a table by emailing them online; someone will confirm the day of. The food was all scrumptious we had the mezze platter (olives, pita bread, and hummus), curried chicken salad (which can be shared by two), and a flatbread that we mostly took back to the hotel. Our server, Shawn, was adorable!

Beautiful setting, very nice service, food was excellent. Really enjoyed the wine tasting (available Saturdays only for a very reasonable price of $16 for 4 wines.
