Bon Vi - Palma de Mallorca

We were disappointed with this restaurant which we visited based on TripAdvisor reviews. We arrived on time on a Sunday evening and had to wait nearly half an hour for the table to become free (two locals finishing their drinks) perched on uncomfortable chairs in a back room. We nearly left and found somewhere else but hung on in the hope that a table would come free. We ordered sea bass which we were told would be filleted. After reminding them, it was filleted quickly and not particularly well, leaving a number of bones in the fish. The table we were given was on a busy corner with constant traffic it was not relaxing having cars constantly manoeuvring around the junction. The staff were clearly frenetically busy and working extremely hard but as a result, service was not good. We ate and left and wouldn't choose to return.

Set back from seafront and misleading appearance. Recommend reservation. Food high quality fresh gish and staff pleasant.

Great food, friendly service and excellent value. Made a mistake with our order but they were quick to make amends in our favour. Had to drop a star for this error, but wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. From our dining out experiences during our stay in Puerto de Soller Bon Vi is well worthy of its TA rating.

Hemos comido los espaguetis negros, una hamburguesa de ternera, un tiramisú y un bizcocho de almendra. Estaba todo muy bueno.

Es el tercer año consecutivo que visitamos este restaurante, y no nos ha defraudado, pescado de excelente calidad, y servicio inmejorable. Si vais a Sóller no busquéis más…
