Pure Salt Garonda - Palma de Mallorca

Do not let the social media posts internet photos fool you. This is definitely a hotel not worthy of the 4 to 4.5 star rating. On arrival , our driver let us out at the curb as the hotel does not have a driveway entrance and valet or help to get luggage into hotel. There is also no concierge type service and it was difficult to find anyone to help with dining recommendations or reservations. The front desk clerk had a difficult time finding our reservation but after multiple phone calls, it was located. We had to wait for the room to be prepared. The best part of this hotel is the location across the street the beach.The rooms are very small and dark. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were small almost like a half pillow in width. The feeling is not of a nice hotel but more like a college dorm room. I even found little black bugs on bathroom floor. The pool area is in need of upgrade. Not all umbrellas are working properly. The towels are distributed in exchange for a 'card ' given to you at check in. The towels are very thin and not of good quality which is especially annoying as the lounge chair cushions were not very clean. The hallways are dark and all around the hotel there are things needing maintenance. Directional letters were missing on several floors. In a 6 floor building, there were 2 small elevators. We experienced delays in getting one on all occasions and one was broken for a good 24 hrs. This was a problem as my husband was recovering from knee surgery. Breakfast was included and they offered a large buffet in the am. The servers and hostess worked very hard there as it was very busy. The 6th floor has a rooftop bar and lounge area. The view is very nice. They had a loud disco party that went on till almost midnight while we were there. The feeling in this hotel is that you are on a party type cruise ship.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel had everything we wanted. Gym is as expected small but OK for being a hotel gym. Staff were nice and facilities felt taken care of and were clean. Close to the beach. We tried one of the hotels restaurants for dinner and were not impressed, we found much better alternatives close by so I would not recommend half board.

We were extremely impressed with Pure Salt, with Maya and all of her hotel staff, from the lovely cleaners to the reception and breakfast team. We were staying for our wedding and it was a pretty stressful week for us, a few things did not go to plan. The team at Pure Salt really eased our stress and helped us with everything we needed. They provided us with cava on a couple of occasions to toast our arrival and wedding. They made sure we had decent irons, and other bits and pieces when needed. We used the rooftop bar a lot and visited the Spanish restaurant several times. Both the food and drinks at both were very good, at times service was slow but this is our only concern all week. The rooftop pool was a great sun trap for us to hang during the day and relax. We saw many of the rooms, and everyone was very happy. We stayed in a sea view room and then a junior suite, both had great views but the suite was obviously more impressive. It featured a bath and sunbeds on the balcony which had an amazing view of the beach. The cleaners often had to work around all of our wedding luggage, us doing our favours etc in the room and our getting ready on the big day. They were brilliant. The gym and spa were a great addition too which we enjoyed on many occasions. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc. Our whole wedding party was impressed and we don’t feel we could have chosen a better hotel if we tried! Thank you PSG team

Toda la gente q trabaja aquí presta un servicio excelente, las chicas del spa , Silvana y Cati nos trataron como reyes, el lugar es impecable y huele muy bien , todo perfectamente limpio y con detalles lujosos , gracias

Estuvimos en el spa mi pareja y yo. Y honestamente lo recomiendo. No vais a fallar si escogéis este sitio. Atención de 10 instalaciones en perfecto estado. Y excelente trato por parte de Cati y de Paula.
