Dex's Dogs - Palmer Lake

The food was outstanding. I had one of the best breakfast burritos and cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted. The staff was also very friendly.

The food was fantastic, and the service was warm and welcoming. I had the hot dog topped with pulled pork and coleslaw, accompanied by a side of mac and cheese. For dessert, I indulged in a cinnamon roll. We can't wait to return!

I visited today and was welcomed with wonderful hospitality! I’m a big fan of hot dogs, so I ordered a Dex's dog and noticed they also had baked goods. I couldn't resist getting a take-and-bake chicken pot pie, and it was absolutely fantastic!

Have not had a bad meal here yet! We love the family friendly atmosphere and try to stop by at least once a week!

Greg (owner and his family are super friendly and hospitable. They offer some quality home style cooking, made with care. They have recently started a fried catfish special on Friday nights. The fish was exellent, as were the turnip greens that came with it. On separate occasions, I have also had their chicken dumplings, biscuits gravy, quiche, fried peaches and most of their various hot dogs. It has all been good. The place is very casual and family friendly, so don't expect anything fancy and you should not be disappointed. I rarely give restaurants or any other services five stars because I believe something has to be truly exceptional to warrant that. But considering Greg family's hospitality and heart, their lovingly prepared food (especially the catfish! and the quaint locale... 5 stars!
