Annie's Takeaways - Palmerston North

Consistently excellent. You can always count on a great meal here, as everything is well-prepared and served promptly. It’s likely the best spot in town for Chinese, burgers, and fish and chips. It is a bit on the pricey side, but there are certainly other places in town that specialize in specific dishes. However, for fast, reliably good food of all kinds, this restaurant stands out. I have yet to find better Chinese fare anywhere else.

I can’t figure out why Annies Takeaways has an average rating of 2.8. In my opinion, it's one of the best takeaways I've ever experienced! The food is incredibly delicious and fresh, and the prices are quite reasonable. Their chips are consistently crisp and crunchy, and the fish is bursting with flavor. The smorgasbord is outstanding as well!

I think Annie's serves the best fish and chips in Palmy. While it might not be as inexpensive as the takeaways in Auckland, you definitely get great quality for your money. I used to enjoy Annie's all the time when I lived in Palmerston North. Their unique hot dogs are one of my all-time favorites, along with their chips and nuggets! Yum!

We got recommended this fish and chip shop from friends of ours that heard about a couple of bad experiences we had, had with a few local places and we haven't looked back. We come from the opposite side of town to get fish and chips from here. They are super friendly, food is yummy, fast and efficient and they're always so nice to the kids. Love it.

If you are someone that enjoys a good smorgasbord then Annies is your place! The food is diverse and very tasty, there is a decent range of vegetarian options both on the menu and on the smorgasbord. The hot chips are crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, just as they should be! The kitchen always looks spotless and the staff are friendly. highly recommended!
