First visit. Walked in and we were instantly greeted. Bartender told us about the daily specials. Food was great. Service was excellent. We will be back. Great Bar Restaurant... they have live news music on the weekends. Jackie Bam Bam from WMMR, excellent bands, trivia, darts, and other entertainment. FOOD DELICIOUSLY COOKED FRESH FROM KITCHEN, MENU HAS A VARIETY OF ITEMS, so many that I could recommend.. never disappointing. Oh and the desserts are wonderful!! I ordered the blueberry cheesecake is heated, DELICIOUSLY made for a special after dinner desert. Trust me it'll make you want to order another one. The patrons are mostly local and very friendly, polite, and a neighborly crowd. Good Vibes, highly recommended. You really can 't describe how much you feel at home at 5 West, regardless if it 's your 1st or 15th time there. The staff owners treat you like you 're a regular to them and couldn 't make you feel more welcome. Lots of fun specials on the board to try and a great regular menu. Way above bar food . The Chef takes as much pride in his food as the owners do in their establishment and they definitely set an extremely high bar (no pun intended) for every casual dinning/drink place in the area. You walk in, sit down, and feel at home immediately. Very kid friendly UNLESS otherwise specified such as adult trivia nights but even then they let you know what time adult hour starts and it 's still not uncomfortable to be there if you 're not a fan of rude atmospheres. Great chef, bizarre unexplainable, inconsistent service.SOME bartenders amazing good and the way it should be, but they’re fighting a losing battle.ownership is void of personality and how to make a customer feel welcomed and their business appreciatedI basically have written them off other than a last option.
