Teaspoon - Palo Alto

Lacking customer service and management in a big way. Pretentious and a little overwhelming — I actually thought this was a different boba chain restaurant or I would have never walked in to begin with. It was only after my interaction that I realized it was a Tea spoon restaurant and not a Share-Tea location.I walked in and asked for a “regular Boba milk tea” and the young person working the counter looked at me like they had no idea what a simple Boba milk tea was. Then they told me “you have to order off the menu”. So I asked “where on the menu is a simple black tea with milk and Boba?” and they continued to looked at me like I was crazy. Virtually, no customer service when it came to ordering. So, I walked out —Went down the street to Share-tea (which is what I was looking for the whole time anyway) and got exactly what I wanted instantly. Lol these pretentious Boba places are kind of a joke.

Clean and cute on the inside of the shop. There's a screen to order at or you can order at the counter.The drink itself was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the texture of the boba was good. I got the Taro Lover and added a request for 0% sweet, but I'm not so sure it is in fact 0% sweet or perhaps the sweetness is fixed. The taro itself is also sweet, but I appreciated the texture.Overall, fairly average for the price. Would maybe go again, but not my favorite.

Teaspoon is famous but they serve sugar bombs even if you say that you want very little sugar. Just visit the safeway store nearby to buy cane sugar it will taste the same.It is a nice, friendly, cool place; but sugar amount is too much.

The team here is phenomenal! I came in and they were already pretty busy with online orders but that didn't stop them from giving GREAT customer service and a friendly attitude! I didn't catch his name but he seemed like he was a supervisor/manager. The one with the beard. To you specifically, sir, thank you ?Edit: Arian! (Hope i spelled it right! You are AMAZING!

Always so friendly and the best boba around : I actually go out of my way to come to this location since I’ve moved farther away.
