Laguna Vista - Palolem

We booked this place through beachhutbooking.com which I'd never used before but the company were extremely helpful, arranging taxi's from the train stations and even booking our sleeper train travel as I was having difficulty online. I'd previously been to Goa three years ago so knew I wanted to be between Palolem + Patnem beach. Columb Bay where Laguna Vista is located is a quiet peaceful bay ideally located if you want somewhere quiet to put your head down and to start the day. When I say quiet this is with the exception of hearing to odd dogs bark. The accommodation is a very basic beach hut with a bed to rest your head and a slightly tired bathroom. There is a small verander outside the hut which was nice to sit at overlooking the fishermen's bay.Tips - only a small hand towel size is provided for drying. We managed but it just wouldn't have been sufficient enough to sit outside in if your not one to reveal all. The manager was very helpful and keen to please. Must like dogs! The huts are closely guarded by a friendly pack of dogs that have lived there a few years. We were informed of this by another travelling couple who regularly returns to Laguna Beach.We were slightly out of season when we stayed so cannot comment on the restaurant as it was not open for food, only beverages.

I spend a lot of time there, not just because i life next to it, but it offer good indian, nepali and seafood. nice service!!!

The staff was always friendly and in any case helpful. The food was just in time and the location is very nice. The menu card was even fitting our children's tastes and the indien and nepali dishes were great. We would love to come back. A family with three children from cologne, germany

Crazy late post but I stayed just under a week in a beach hut at Laguna Vista at the end of March '16 and loved it. I was tipped by a friend to stay there and am so glad I took her advice. The place is located in a tiny little hood called Colomb right in between Patnem and Palolem and arriving there was like finding your own little slice of tropical paradise . I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant/bar, both during the day and in the evening, and the view over the little bay from out of my hamoc with the sound of the waves coming in underneath of me... Pure heaven. I had drop in yoga classes at Lalaland down the road which were excellent. I ate a few times at Laguna Vista restaurant and it was all very nice. Ash and the other guys were lovely and helpful and I felt very at ease being there as a woman traveling on my own. I love how the guys are all connected well in their little community there. Also, there are a lot of dogs everywhere in that area as you may know and before I flew to Goa, I wondered how I'd feel about that as I am not a great dog person and I was surprised to really love the dogs hanging around Laguna Vista; they were the kindest sort, would never ask for anything and were of no bother to any one. I especially loved the one called Facebook (I know!) who would often be waiting on my beach hut porch when I arrived back at the hut in the evenig. I hope to go back to South Goa soon and hopefully I can stay here again. Thank you Ash and the team!

Best reggae bar in Palolem. The owner and staff was very helpful and nice people, that why we go there back in agonda when we move on. After beachday laguna vista is the place to go! Nice big rocks to glimp up and watch who sun is going down, or just sit down on the reggae style floor and order cold drinks and starters. Here is good foods, and price is not high. Live music, free wifi, nice beach huts with hammock.
