Ourem 88 - Palolem

We have seen that the restaurant was no1 on travel adviser and also had a recommendation from friends who had eaten there. we have booked a table about the services that worked well. we have time for our meal. starters and main courses were fantastic as was...hubby Dessert.my dessert but was the chocolate lover who tasted amazingly, but was much too runny. all in all a good meal. toilets were immaculate.

Fabulous ambiente, eating and service. menu to die. superb with wonderful matre de. I chose pate with sour pickel warm fresh brot for starter with vintage bottle of ree merlot. main thing. sliced filler boiled to perfection on fresh buttered green raja and delfinoise potatoes. no, room for the desert. fabulous eating and experience 10 of 10 thks board and jody.

After a 3-year break was amazing to be back. eating was as fantastic as I remember. the coward and brie salad is super. finished with a home made baileys. rebooked for Saturday. can not recommend very enough!

The restaurant claimed to be vegetarian/vegan friendly, but when we arrived, the owner/manager informed us that most of the dishes were not vegetarian. He also mentioned that the supposed veg dishes mostly contained meat. It seemed like he was trying to discourage us from dining there. We wasted 1.5 hours traveling to the restaurant, only to find out that the description was misleading.

This charming restaurant, owned by a British couple, is a must-visit when in Palolem. The cozy atmosphere and amazing menu make it worth a visit. Don't hesitate to go, you won't be let down.
