The Olive Room - Palolem

Мы отдыхали на Гоа всей большой семьей, и нам посоветовали посетить этот ресторан. Скажу, что заведение из всех на пляже Палолем самое лучшее! Ну а официант Джимми просто мастер своего дела! Все что мы заказывали при совете Джимми очень понравилось! Поставлю максимальную оценку

We are here one evening and were extremely impressed. The fresh garlic prawns were amazing. All food is cooked in a kitchen which was basically opposite where we sat. Staff were all very friendly. Would definitely eat here again!

We initially walked past the restaurant and was greeted by Romeo. We discussed the prices of the seafood and he showed us what was available. We said we would have a walk and come back. We watched the sunset, spoke to a few other restaurants and discovered that The Olive Room had the most variety (they had crab) and it was the best price. We had 6 fresh hot garlic king prawns, and grilled red snapper, chips, vegetables and 2 cocktails and water for around1500r. Which may be slightly higher than the budget traveller would want to pay, but it was a great experience. The fish was soft and fresh and the prawns were the best we had ever had (would definitely recommend them and they are reasonably priced). Cocktails were buy one get one free. The waiter, Romeo, and all others were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience and a very happy customer, would eat here again!

The Olive Room was one of the few restaurants open during the Monsoon. Oh, and by the way, when Indians say "off season" they MEAN "off season." The entire town of Palolem was shut down! So when our host recommended the restaurant, I didn't have high hopes. We were pleasantly surprised by both the food and service. My favorite dishes are Chicken 65 and the shish kebab. I don't know what exactly goes into Chicken 65, but it's AMAZING. So spicy and delicious. Everything was very fresh and made to order. Definitely go here if you're in Palolem. :)

The breakfast options had less mix and matches of the items compared to other places. Also while taking the order, the attention span was very less. But nonetheless the taste of the food was really good.
