Bar Restaurante Baviera - Pamplona

This was a restaurant in the main square in Pamplona. It looked like many of the other restaurants with an outside canopy so pleasant and par for the course. They advertised a medium size dish paella for 24 euros. They said it was for two people although they did not state this on the menu. When we were billed for 48 euros for this plain paella with prawns I queried the bill and said we were surprised that one medium sized paella was 48 euros. They said it was not expensive and our waiter said that food was more expensive than Kensington where he had visited!!!

I never write bad reviews but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The server was dismissive, rude and ignored us the entire meal. The food and wine were subpar and expensive. So sad to spend one of my last nights in the country being treated so unkindly. Just say no to this place.

We stumbled upon this place by surprise. A wonderfully well stocked bar and gin tonics to die for. Served with care and great attention to detail. Great atmosphere, nice boppy music and happy clientele.

El menú bueno y la atención también, aunque me parece un abuso que una infusión de manzanilla cueste 3,50 € y un café americano 3,00 € creo que eso deja al local en muy mal lugar. No volvería.

Situacion en plena plaza, tapas correctas, servicio bueno, muy frecuentado.
