We had a wonderful experience and our server was extremely friendly. He answered our questions about prices (many items are marked market price due to frequent price fluctuations) and the daily specials.
Great food, great location, and friendly staff made for the best evening ever. They have an exquisite jewelry bar just inside the restaurant. Anniversary, birthday, or just because, you can take your special someone, have dinner and buy their gift, or let them select the gift to ensure they love what they get, all in one place and have a most fabulous evening. (Gals, the jewelry bar has a collection 'fish hook ' pendant. Perfect for your man.
Food was good, service was good. Nice view sitting over the water. Stuffed grouper was good. Stuffed mushroom appetizer with only 3 mushrooms was disappointing. Seafood has gotten pricey at most restaurants.
A Hidden Jewel on the Gulf Coast! If you want a culinary delight....like no other...make sure you visit Angelo 's. Absolutely a taste sensation. Angelo 's family traditions and his original recipes are amazing. Friday evening we ordered Scamp Imperial and Snapper Greek Style . OMG simply a taste and texture delight! It was so satisfying that we came back Saturday evening and tried the Shrimp Scampi Angelo cooks himself) Costa Rican Amberjack....Both awesome!! So many layers of flavor and the presentation was one to remember! You must try Angelo 's once....and I assure you..you will return! Special thanks to Angelo his lovely wife Arline and our top notch server Cooper!
Took the family to dinner here while visiting my mother, down from New York. Mom and Dad used to eat here prior to his death several years ago. It was a lovely semi-post-pandemic meal. We ordered and then picked up our food and ate out on the outside deck (which was closed that evening). I gorged myself on the fried shrimp and grouper platter, enjoying both as well as the delicious seafood gumbo and man-oh-man the hushpuppies. None of this can you get up in NYC. It all tasted fresh (I spent my youth fishing and spearfishing w/my father out of our own boat offshore from here, so I know). Oh, and sweet tea, I grew up on it and forgot how much I missed it in the hot summer. Thank you for a great meal and time.
