Golden Unicorn - Panama

Excellent food and service! I will surely revisit this restaurant whenever I return to Panama.

Most Chinese people would be embarrassed by the quality of the food here. But I can see that plenty of local customers apparently still enjoy their food . I guess they don't know what good Chinese dim sum is supposed to be like at all. Even fool-proof dishes like ribs in blackbean sauces does not come out right. It is a very sad meal for us; quite possibly the worst dim sum I ever had, anywhere in or out of Asia.

The employee in charge of the restaurant showed very poor customer service skills. Recommend better training to serve or to attend customers inquiries or needs.

We visited Golden Unicorn on a Sunday around 11:30am. Many items seemed to be our already (we tried to order with server, and was told many items we wanted were out). There were less people coming in and many table were available. We would suggest to go early and you may have more food items to choose from. The pork we had had a funky taste/smell, not sure if it was just this batch had this smell or it came from the pork they sourced. Overall, our experience was a meh, we would try dim sum at other places for better comparison.
