Makoto - Panama City

I loved nigiri of uni There is 3 kinds of uni from California, Fukuoka and Russia. All of them are super delicious

I just want to thank the staff at Makoto for being sympathetic to my family and providing us with amazing customer service and an excellent dining experience. It's not a family restaurant as they don't have high-chairs but they won't turn you away for having a tot. We came in around 5ish for an early dinner and our daughter had just fallen asleep. We thought that we could bribe her to stay up but she wouldn't budge so they moved our table outside where she had a comfortable bench to sleep. About five minutes in, torrential rain hit and they moved us back in and we did not sense a hint of frustration. Everyone from the managers, the hosts to our two waiters (one was off and another had to take over) were 100% sympathetic to our needs. The carpaccio de res was good, the sake was good, and we had the nigiri chef special. They called us taxi and walked us out. If you don't have kids and plan to come in for a later dinner, do make reservations. My husband and I look forward to returning. Oh yeah, and the deco inside was romantic.

As always the best sushi and sashimi in Panama. Great Service and beautiful terrace. Carlos and his colleagues were great and friendly.
