La Strega - Panama City

I was disappointed by this restaurant. The ambiance was pleasant, but the food was mediocre and expensive. The service was also very slow.

The service at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and the setting is very romantic. I couldn't resist trying the Fettucine Strega, and it was absolutely delicious. I decided to add some fresh shrimp, which complemented the dish perfectly. It was a bit rich, but sometimes you have to treat yourself. We began our meal with an appetizer that reminded us of Greek saganaki, but it was actually an Italian version with a beautiful blend of cheeses, Italian meats, and delicious crispy bread. It was also excellent! I would highly recommend trying their wide variety of meats and salads from the full menu, so you can keep coming back for more.

The steak lacked flavor and my sides were served late, halfway through my meal. My friend's pasta was undercooked and the shrimp appeared to be frozen. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Outstanding service. They could tell myself and my wife didn't speak much Spanish and accommodated us very very well. The food was out f ing standing. And the service was 100% on point. At no point will you starve or thirst at the Strega. A side note, the appetizers are ginormous.

The service and food was really good, a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it.
