Do not go to sit without some time because everything is done to order and freshly prepared. With minimal staff they do a particularly good job for the people who walk in the door. The food was AMAZING and they were super patient with our questions about different dishes and what they were. What we got was very cheap and worth every penny. The Cuban coffee at the end of the meal was a perfect finish for our already amazing meal. Her youngest son entertained my toddler in the most loving way and took him into all the games they played. Will often return in the future.
The newly opened restaurant serves dishes from several Latin countries. Very nice family that needs their time to make good food, so don't eat here if you're in a hurry.
That was the first time my husband and I had eaten here. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and it was so big that we had to share it, and as for the taste it was great! The experience was also great, the owner was waiting for us and he made us feel like we were family. Thank you, we'll be back soon.
Absolutely LOVE this place! It is family owned and operated and they could not be warmer or welcoming when you go through the door! The food is absolutely amazing! The portions are huge and the prices are great. To date, I had the pleasure to try the Cerdo Frito (Nicaraguan Pork and the Street Taco (Pork with a freshly made maize tortilla). Believe me if I tell you that there is not another restaurant with so diverse menus. From Columbian to Nicaraguan to Dominican Republic to Brazil, and this is just a few to name! Make yourself a favor and try it today. Thank you later; thank you Jose and family for bringing such a great restaurant to the city!
This place has awesome food! If you want authentic Jamaican cuisine, this is it. They have great portions and packed flavor for a great price! It is not a place for sit down, but it does have a table and some chairs with an umbrella outside and a couple chairs inside. There’s Jamaican food products on the walls for purchase and several Latin America drinks. We went in and the cashier greeted us and asked if it was our first time, it was, and went on to explain that all the dishes they had listed on their menu comes with rice and beans, fried plantain slices, sliced tomatoes, and stewed cabbage along with whatever meat your ordered. I ordered their jerk chicken, and my boyfriend ordered the curry chicken. They both were fantastic! The tomatoes go great with the stewed cabbage and the fried plantains were sweet and savory! The jerk chicken was a sweet spicy delight, and the curry was a slow burning kind of spice. They also offer homemade drinks: ginger beer, carrot juice, beet juice, and lemonade; I had lemonade and it was delicious and fresh tasting. My boyfriend had some of the cold canned coconut juice, which was delicious and had coconut pulp. Food was done fast, and the service was kind and helpful, the price of all our food and drinks with tax was 22.95. That is some amazing value!
