Barefoot On The Bay Grill - Panama City

I visited this place a few weeks ago when I was home visiting after nearly a decade devoid of fresh seafood. I was in search of a spot that served fresh, cold, salty Apalachicola oysters. After coming across numerous places, I found that they were either shut for the day or no longer operating. This is when my wife and I stumbled upon this place, and we're so glad we did! After explaining to the bartender/server what I wished for, he vowed to bring out the saltiest, biggest, and most flavorful oysters around. He did not disappoint these were the largest and best oysters I've indulged in for years. My wife, originally from NY, had never experienced oysters like these. I had her try one, nothing but its natural taste. Her reaction was something familiar only from our intimate moments, lol. She eagerly consumed two more. We rapidly finished the dozen and ordered another. I can't emphasize enough that the server truly delivered on his promise. We savored a few drinks to accompany the oysters. The excellent oysters and service led us to return the following night for a meal with some of my friends. The food, service, ambiance were all delightful and the prices reasonable. I'll certainly be revisiting this place next time I'm home!

Holly was over worked, under paid perhaps but I will tell u this…she made an impression on our experience! U could not tell she was stressed! She handled her struggles as a professional! We will be back! Hopefully she is still here!

Sit at the bar. The oysters were fucked before us. The guy who did it was very informative, he showed us why he did the one he did, both from the hollow sound (small and the dirt (instead of clear water). I learned so much from him! These were the best oysters I ever had, and they were huge! Three cheese bacon Jalapeño roasted were amazing as the raws. The best oysters I've ever had
