I have been on the pcb many times, but this was our first trip to capt jack’s. the breakfast buffet was very delicious and had a lot to offer.
$10.95 everything they can eat breakfast buffet. large meat selection. bee, bee and yoghurt. our server tracey was super sweet!
Not all that it’s cracked up to be. We were going to visit for dinner, but just couldn’t justify paying 4 times as much for the dinner buffet versus the lunch buffet. The lunch buffet was slim pickings and very few sea food options. So maybe the dinner buffet they go all out on? Because it just wasn’t there for lunch. Unless you wanted fried catfish and popcorn shrimp which can be had at any basic restaurant. My reasonings behind only 2 stars is I believe that for a sea food joint, they should have more sea food options available regardless if it’s their lunch or dinner buffet. Now I understand why the place was nearly empty at noon. Everyone else had already experienced the lack of and choose to spend their money else where. The woman who searched up was great and only thing that we truly remember about the food was the pineapple ice cream. Sad when you go to a sea food restaurant and the highlight is the ice cream.
Possibly the worst crab legs I have ever eaten. They were cold off the buffet. Great waiter went and brought us hot crab legs but they weren't cooked properly or something. Out of about 5 claws only had one piece of solid meat. I am usually pretty good at cracking legs. The rest of the buffet looked like it had been sitting there all day. Wasn't worth $19.95 each for the two plates much less $59.95 per plate. Walked out hungry. Hopefully the Capt jacks on Thomas is better where we usually eat at least once each trip. Want try Front beach ever again.
