Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant

We really like going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and this was our first visit to the one located in Jonesboro, AR, since we just moved here. I was pretty disappointed in the breakfast. Coffee was luke warm, French toast was not very hot, and my scrambled egg portion was much smaller than my partners, even though we were both supposed to get two eggs scrambled. My portion looked like about 1 1/2 eggs. The sausage was pretty good, and the apples were tasty. Overall, the server was somewhat attentive and did refill my coffee cup with hotter coffee, but that did not make up for the fact that it was not as hot as it should have been. My partner enjoyed her eggs and grits, but her bacon was far from the crisp she had asked for. Undercooked bacon is not palatable at all and could be dangerous to eat. The restaurant was crowded, but that is no excuse as there were plenty of servers to take care of the customers.

My daughter ate at the Cracker Barrel in Jonesboro, AR on 7/31/24. The service was horrible. She ordered a combination steak and chicken dinner. She waited over an hour for her meal, and they only brought her the steak portion. When she asked about the chicken, they said they were out of the chicken. She asked why they did not advise her that they were out of the chicken. They had no answer for her. She asked how she was going to be charged for the meal, And they said they were just going to takeoff the portion for the chicken. No manager came out, no apology was made. Extremely poor service. My daughter is town for several days. she will not return to the restaurant.

Love the feeling of Cracker Barrel, reminds me of simple times when I was younger. The food was great, and the staff was very nice and the location was clean.

The worst waitress I've ever seen in my 57yrs on this earth. Brings the wrong food a sampler platter and proceeds to argue that's what I ordered. The only thing I ever order at Cracker Barrel is the mama's French Toast meal.

Food as expected. Service a little slow. Un bused tables. Kinda messy but we were just after lunch rush on July 4th.
