Gardylafquen - Panguipulli

Five of us went to the restaurant for lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious. The only downside was that we had to wait about an hour for our dishes, but they kindly gave us slices of cake to enjoy while we waited.

The food and service were average. It is possible that due to the low season, some of the nice dishes on the menu were not available.

Panguipulli is a commune located within the province of Valdivia, in the Rios Region, north of the Lagos Region and south of the Araucanía, in Chile. Panguipulli is growing quite thanks to the momentum that they are giving to the tourist activity between the municipality of Panguipulli and the Chilean Emprende program. Especially its Destination Seven Lakes that gradually becomes more known at the national and international levels. A lot of adventure tourism is done with excursions organized to make rafting in rivers, fishing in lakes, or relaxing and beauty trips in the hot springs. The hotel offer and restaurants are also growing. As at the Gardylafquen Restaurant, which is well known to the inhabitants of Panguipulli, and it is where you can go for breakfast and load energies before taking some excursion, or having lunch if you are in the city, or a dinner to finish well the day. The food is simple, but very well served: blunt sandwiches, salads, pastas, soups, everything with very good taste. The atmosphere is cozy with wood-based decoration and the attention of the garzones is very good.

The food was excellent, and we were able to bring our dog onto the veranda. The prices were reasonable and the quality of the food was great. We were also allowed to make some modifications to the menu if we desired. I highly recommend trying the Churrasco especial, even though it's not listed on the menu.

How nice it is to find a Restaurant that is good in terms of your food as attention. I just have to congratulate them and recommend them.
