The wooden tables and chairs create a cozy atmosphere. **Vibe:** The overall setting is quite charming, resembling a tourist hotspot, with many local shops, eateries, and the famous Paoay Church nearby. The interior has an Italian feel, featuring vintage decor and spaciousness, with music playing ballad covers of popular songs. It’s a great place for visitors of all ages and a lovely choice for a date night. **Food:** **Pinakbet Pizza (Highly Recommend):** I’m not entirely familiar with the local pizza scene, but this one was delicious. The dough was soft, and it wasn’t overly cheesy. It was loaded with vegetables, and you could add fish sauce from a provided container to enhance the flavor. **Longanisa Pizza (Highly Recommend):** Since I opted for half-and-half, this was the other side of my pizza. The longanisa wasn’t fried but seemed more densely packed. While the sausage flavor was nice, I would have appreciated a little more of it. **Customer Service:** The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us as tourists. Our food arrived relatively quickly, which was a plus. **Overall:** 4.5 stars. I enjoyed the food and found the environment quite pleasant. However, I felt there could have been a bit more to the pizza experience; perhaps I’m just accustomed to American-style pizza. If you’re looking for a comforting meal with a twist from Ilocos Norte, I definitely recommend trying this place out. **Tips:** To avoid the crowds, visit during off-peak hours for lunch or dinner. They also sell some great pasalubong items if you’re interested in souvenirs.
We ordered three dishes: 1. **Lumpiang Shanghai:** The lumpia was a bit doughy, and my wife felt it was undercooked. 2. **Fried Chicken:** I love fried chicken, but these pieces were cut too small, making it easy for them to overcook and turn dry. 3. **Bulalo:** This hearty beef bone soup loaded with vegetables was fantastic! The broth was rich in flavor, and the vegetables were cooked just right. I could easily order this again—highly recommended! Overall, the experience was adequate for our trip. One thing worth mentioning: while the atmosphere was pleasant and the service attentive, there was an issue with our table. On my side, the glass top had a large crack in the corner. It seemed like they attempted to use caulk to prevent cuts, but there were still sharp edges. They might want to consider not using that table. Enjoy your visit!
This restaurant has a charming vintage ambiance! The food is outstanding, and the staff are well-dressed and always greet you with a smile.
Delicious food, vintage atmosphere, and excellent service—what more could you want? Be sure to try their renowned pinakbet pizza; it’s absolutely fantastic! Just a heads up, there’s no hot sauce available, but the bagoong pairs perfectly! We actually ordered a half-and-half: half pinakbet and half Ilocandia pizza (the one with Vigan longganisa). Every bagnet dish we had was crispy and flavorful—truly exceptional! I will definitely be back soon!
As a proud Ilocano, I must say that the pinakbet pizza is a true innovation! The restaurant is located right in front of a heritage site, which makes it even more special. It got me thinking about what the elders must have been doing during the construction of the ancient church nearby. The menu features delicious Ilocano dishes like pinakbet, dinardaraan (also known as dinuguan), bagnet, and dinakdakan. Dining there feels nostalgic and gives me a sense of being at home.
