Ttappis Tavern - Paralimni

The only good thing was the bread. The service although fast was rude. They told us they could not accommodate single portions the moment everybody was treated with one. They made us pay extra 10 euros. The meat although tasty send us to the toilet!!!!!!

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great . Such a lovely restaurant definitely recommend.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local Greek, who was confident that it was the best place for mezes in Paralimni. However, Tttapis Tavern did not live up to expectations in terms of food experience. The standout feature here was the lack of service - waiters simply placed food on tables without greeting guests or explaining the dishes. The food was average, with a limited selection of mezes available only in pairs. Solo diners had to choose individual items and could not mix protein sources. The meat meze came with a small salad and a selection of dips, including a tasty beetroot relish. The highlight was the fresh bread, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The rest of the meat mezes included chicken, sausage, meatballs, braised lamb, and pork chop, but nothing stood out. The menu did not list the contents of the mezes, so diners had to guess what was being served. The restaurant had a traditional Cypriot Tavern interior but felt outdated, with ashtrays on every table and a smoking policy that allowed smoking everywhere. Overall, the service was poor, and while the food was decent, it did not impress. If possible, it's best to dine elsewhere in Paralimni for a more satisfying experience.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, and the dessert was also enjoyable, featuring a traditional Cypriot treat and a generous portion of watermelon. However, I am deducting a point because I am not a fan of crowded restaurants.
