Excellent Indian food which sent me back to my time in India. I had several delicious and authentic dishes which were not changed for the Western palate, thankfully, including dal makhani and bitter melon dishes. Good lassi and lemonade drinks. Even kulfi made an appearance on the menu! Nice to sit outside as well. Great experience!

Karan's Indian Food is an Indian restaurant in Paramaribo, Suriname. This is a good place to visit for the Indian style food. You van visit with your family. They have enough space at both outside and inside the restaurant. You can get Drinks, and beverages along with food. Quality and taste of food is good here. Place is clean and service staff is polite. Waiting time of the food after order is approx. 30 minutes here.

If you want great Indian food, without tourist trappings, this is the place. Mostly vegetarian, but also mutton biryani and chicken/ fish dishes. Excellent halwa and chai masala. Good chapatis and nan bread.

I had, paneer pakora, butter paneer, butter garlic naan.. Everything was delicious. And service was excellent. I strongly recommand Karan's. I will go back for sure.
