Roti Shop Joosje - Paramaribo

This restaurant looks very simple, but eating is delicious. the nice lady who served at the theke was really helpful when we didn't speak Dutch and we had a great meal. the restaurant itself and the toilets were very clean. in any case we want to go back!

Clean and straightforward high quality roti shop near the city centre. No need for visitors to look further for this traditional Surinamese staple.

Traveling around the world on our yacht. Place is extremely clean, pricing is great but one feels you are rushed as there is no ambiance in the place.

Classic place, dating back from 1942 apparently! Unfortunately you can't see much of that when you're inside: quite a sterile interior. The roti is wonderful! Good thick roti bread. The portions however were quite small, and relatively expensive for the size(20 SRD for roti chicken egg veg). But: it was all delivered to our table, on a real plate!

The food is okey. It is a clean place and prices are higher than other roti shops
