In terms of flavor, the food was decent. However, the portion sizes were laughable. I paid $17 for a French dip sandwich that was under 6 inches long and had barely enough meat to satisfy a 2-week-old kitten. The sweet potato fries were a bit strange—not necessarily bad, but unlike any sweet potato fries I've had before—and they were extremely soggy. The chicken sandwich was only slightly better in terms of portion size, but it still didn’t justify the price. It’s telling that after finishing our meal, we had to go out and get more food because we were still hungry. We may not be health nuts, but we certainly aren’t morbidly obese either. This trend in restaurants continues: portion sizes shrink while prices rise. Ten years ago, this sandwich would have cost $8.99—just something to think about.
The TUSCANY LEMON CHICKEN was overly salty, and I can't recommend it. Additionally, the portion of fries they served was quite small.
Our experience would not have been the same without Verne. His charismatic and engaging demeanor, coupled with his genuine concern for ensuring we were all satisfied, truly enhanced our time there.
We visited this place on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find that they offered a Happy Hour at the bar all day long. We started off by ordering a few drinks and some appetizers…
