It's a big restaurant and despite the time of year, it was hard to imagine how they could ever fill it, so don't be put off if it doesn't look busy. It's at a lovely end of town at the buzzy frontera, which means you can go for the delightful light show and then hit Bocamora after. Get a balcony table for nice views of the river/s and across to Brazil and Paraguay. We had steak and red wine (what else do you have in Argentina! and they were as good as we've had anywhere. Special mention for Mariano, our friendly, attentive and patient (language barrier waiter who took care of us on both nights. Thank you Mariano!
Visited Bocamora two times and had a very good time. We especially enjoyed the shrimp skewers, the steaks and the bruschetta. The risotto was a bit of a disappointment though. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and of course the view on the three-country point makes this place very special!
Good rather than very good. Had the shrimp skewers and bruschetta to begin followed by the local fish with mash and leeks and a tropical salad. It was all decent rather than outstanding though cocktails were poor, they had no daquiris and my caiporoska was half a glass of sugar which was fairly sickly. Reasonable food with nice views though a little dingy and service a bit slack
It’s all about the views here! Overlooking the Iguazu river and the Brazil side. It was very quite so we had our choice of tables. The house red wine was very drinkable and the staff friendly.
I arrived here in a taxi and was seated overlooking the river . I had the fish, Pacu. I certainly experienced great food and service, and the waiter spoke English and was very accommodating to this solo traveler. Since I am usually a solo traveler, it is important to me if servers engage me. Some of the other reviewers have had some negative things to say this was not my experience. Very lovely restaurant.
