Greytown The Top Pub - Paraparaumu

A wonderful stay in a beautiful old Hotel. Staff so helpful and friendly wished we could have stayed longer and explored the town more. We will be back. Great experience.

Oh my!! 1860 restaurant…how amazing were you! You catered for our group of 11, very last minute and I’m so glad you did! Entrees…..amazing, mains….amazing, desserts…amazing, wines…amazing!! A highlight was definitely the steak. Cooked to perfection and a decent size. We’re visiting from Oz, and in complete awe of the steak we were served. Kiwis definite do it better! We had 5 teenagers and young adults amongst our group and they were impressed too. The staff happily catered for all our needs with a smile. Loved, loved our night…..and can’t wait to visit again on our next trip back to NZ. Thank you so much! And so well priced!

A great old pub. Rooms are simple, comfortable clean accommodation. A lovely dinner and a wonderful host and staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely, shaded, outside area, below cherry blossom. Kept the Wairarapa sun off our backs, as we sank some cold ones. Useful range of beers, something for everyone.
